Kickstarting with the basics. “Aam Aadmi ka sheher” or “The City of a Common Man”, is the very first thought piece of ddc. The article exuberates simplicity and complexity at the same time since it gives a solid impression of being a collective account but, in fact, a narration of an individual. The decision of writing this in Urdu comes with an understanding that you cannot convey the dilemma of a common man with the required transparency except by using their language.
Contextualizing Sustainability
IAPEX 2023
Last month, we presented our paper, contextualizing the sustainability debate, at IAPEX Architects Contribution Forum 2023. The theme prodded us to question the question itself, which stemmed from this dire unsettlement that has been felt when we see people follow western trends more blindly than the blinds and for once utilize a forum for something meaningful, so one more time again, it doesn’t remain a discussion for the sake of discussion or discussion to just put our name under the master tag of sustainable calling, worldwide.
